Dr. Schumpf is a certified Diplomate and recognized Fellow of the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies (A-CBT) specializing in the treatment of anxiety, mood disorders, and sleep disorders. Trauma, relationship issues, problems with assertiveness, coping with medical illness, and women’s health concerns are also among her areas of focus.

Dr. Schumpf provides individual psychotherapy for adults, adolescents, and children utilizing short-term Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and long-term Schema-focused Therapy, along with acceptance-based/mindfulness approaches. CBT is an evidence-based, time-limited, and skills-oriented treatment. Dr. Schumpf’s approach is active, collaborative, and highly-individualistic with a validating and empathetic stance.

Please note: As of March 2022, Dr. Schumpf is offering limited in-person sessions at her Flatiron office, and will continue to offer remote sessions as a matter of health safety and convenience.
