Dr. Jamie Schumpf is a licensed psychologist, diplomate of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy, and an expert in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). CBT is an evidence-based, time-limited, and skills-oriented treatment. She employs an active, collaborative, and individualistic approach to treatment with a validating and empathic stance.
Dr. Schumpf provides individual psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults utilizing short-term CBT and long-term Schema-focused Therapy, along with acceptance-based/mindfulness approaches. She specializes in the treatment of anxiety and mood disorders as well as sleep disorders.
